We are pleased to announce that following a recent Ofsted inspection at Spring Lane Primary School in Northampton, the school has been judged as ‘good’ in all categories. Spring Lane was judged as ‘requires improvement’ in 2014 and has rapidly improved, and our hearty congratulations go out to all the staff and governors as well as the CAT team who have worked with the school. Well done all!
Ofsted’s report quoted “The headteacher has formed a team of senior and middle managers, who, along with the governing body, are committed to school improvement at all levels. There is a clear focus on raising pupils’ attainment and progress by improving the quality of teaching.” The report also confirmed “Achievement is good. Most pupils make good or better progress. Performance information shows that pupils’ progress, across the school, has been accelerated over the last year.”
