Jo Olley qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the provincial firm Bird Luckin in 1993. She remained in practice specialising in small and medium size corporate finance and audit ( including charities) until 2004 when she moved into industry, leading the finance function in a multi-million pound IT business.
In 2005 she joined EdisonLearning Limited, an educational change management company in order to combine her career in finance with a love of education. Jo spent 8 years running the finance function for EdisonLearning and liaising with the parent company in the US and supporting a joint venture in Dubai. Through EdisonLearning she supported the setting up of The Collaborative Academies Trust.
Since its inception in 2012, Jo has been appointed the Chief Finance Officer and leads all areas of finance, working closely with the Board, Executive team and schools.
